There are two main places you can get an apostille, depending on the type of document you have. For state-level documents—like a driver’s license, marriage certificate, or death certificate—you’ll need to request the apostille from the Secretary of State in the state where the document was issued. But if you’ve got federal documents—like an FBI background check, IRS records, or Social Security paperwork—you’ll need to get the apostille from the U.S. Department of State in Washington, D.C. (We handle both State and Federal Documents)
No, a notary must be present to witness the signer actually signing the document to authenticate the signature and prevent fraud.
The first step is to make an appointment we can meet in person or you can mail us the documents. We will then notarize the documents if needed, prepare the documents, pay the government entity, apostille the documents, then return the documents to you in person or by mail. Free to mail in united states, client will be responsible for the cost of international mail.
Due to the fact that we do travel to meet clients, we do not accept
